How to play Sevens
Take a moment to check the current turn. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
Four-player free Sevens with three local computer opponents. This table uses the seven-of-diamonds opening and low Aces.
An idea for your next attempt
Use the controls beside the game rather than guessing the rules. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.
Understand the aim
The board gives you the information needed for the next action. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. The game area remains available above the explanation.
The steps to play
- A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
- The holder of 7♦ must play it first. Other suits can open with their own seven.
- Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.
- Play a legal card whenever possible. Passing is allowed only when no card fits.
- The first player with an empty hand wins the round.
The controls to know
Use the controls beside the game rather than guessing the rules. Tap an enabled card from your hand. The suit rows show cards already played. Use Pass only when it is enabled.
Work through an example
After 7♥ is opened, 6♥ or 8♥ can be played. 5♥ must wait until 6♥ is on the table. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.
Avoid this misunderstanding
Keep the goal in view while choosing a move. A matching rank in another suit does not extend an existing row. Every suit has its own sequence. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.
